Who we are

The Charlton Kings Local and Family History Society was formed in 1978 by Mary Paget and Michael Greet with the purpose of studying and researching the history of Charlton Kings.

The Society works to collect material and information concerning the history of Charlton Kings. It studies and publishes information collected and aims to stimulate public interest in, and appreciation of local history in general and the surprising history of Charlton Kings in particular.

The Society undertakes other activities on its own or in cooperation with others to support the aims set out above.
