Cheltenham Camera Club

Who we are

Cheltenham Camera Club is the largest, and oldest photographic club in Gloucestershire and one of the oldest in the country, dating back to 1865.  Our members vary from beginners to those who have won international competitions, and many have distinctions from the RPS, PAGB, FIAP and PSA.

Amongst our membership, we have specialists in the full range of genres, including nature, studio, street, portraits, landscape and mono.

We meet at Holy Apostles Hall, London Road, Charlton Kings, GL52 6HW on Thursdays from September to May (7pm for 7.30 start).

We run regular training sessions and focus groups including First Tuesday and 7 o’clock Club. Our annual salon, the Cheltenham International Salon of Photography attracts thousands of entries.

We also run the popular Gloucestershire Young Photographer competition.

Our Annual Exhibition is held in the Gardens Gallery, Montpellier Gardens, Cheltenham GL50 1SD.

If you are interested in photography then why not join us?

Club Nights are held in Charlton Kings on Thursdays. We also run additional ‘First Tuesday’ sessions at the Victory Club.
