We are a friendly choral society of about 50 voices based in Bishop's Cleeve near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. New members are welcome - tenors, basses, altos and sopranos are invited to join us.
We perform at least three concerts a year including a Christmas Concert with carols for choir and audience; a concert featuring larger scale choral works in the spring and a summer concert with a varied repertoire.
The choir can trace its origins back to Bishop's Cleeve Choral and Dramatic Society, which was founded in the early 1930s. This society originated from the Bishop's Cleeve Rectory Chorale Society, which was formed by Rev. Morgan-Brown in the 1920s.
If you enjoy singing, have ever wanted to sing in a choir and are looking for a choir to join, then why not come along to a rehearsal? We welcome tenors, basses, sopranos and altos.
You will not be expected to make any commitment initially, so come along for a free trial period.
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in term-time, 7.30-9.30pm in the Bishops Cleeve Community Building.
