Who we are

We collect, study and publish information about the history of Leckhampton and encourage public interest in local history.

Meetings usually take place monthly (with a break over the Summer) for talks and discussions. We also organise other events and there are opportunities to participate in research. The Society was founded in 1992 and currently has over 100 members. We are affiliated to the Cheltenham Arts Council, the British Association for Local History and the Gloucestershire Local History Association.
Annual membership is £13 (single) or £20 (joint), under-18s free.
For further information please email leckhamptonlhs@gmail.com, see our website llhs.org.uk, or find us on Facebook.
